the grown up 10 year old

OK well Jenna has always tried to act more grown up then she is. Not in the way of make up and such, but by actions. When she was little she would never want help when making koolaid and sandwhiches etc.

Well so this morning I hear someone in the kitchen and I called down to ask Kendra or Mycah.. who was up making something to eat. Jenna yelled back that she just finished making me breakfast. She cooked me scrambled eggs.. HELLO who taught this kid to cook scrambled eggs?? Unfortuatly I could not even try them because my meds are making me feel nausous.. and I dont eat eggs often anyways.. Kendra did not want them so we made Dylan eat them..HAHAH apperantly they were not so good.

So anyways.. Jenna starts to tell me, that while she was making breakfast, the doorbell rang. She said it was our neighbor and she needed a jump start because her car was dead.. but she told her that we were all still asleep..

So this is what Jenna says to me for the next part of this story, "But I watched Kendra give her a jump the other day, so I went and jumped her car for her, so now they are gone"... WHAT THE F*CK.. We bought a small portable jumper set.. thats what she used.. OMFG.. what is this kid thinking.. what was the neighbot thinking!!! That has got to be one of the most dangerous things my child has ever done!

Nerf Guns

Kendra and Dylan went and got nerf guns recently and Jr wanted to get Jenna and Mycah one too.. so he also got himself one. He was all excited, and could not wait to get home.. so I drove.. and he put his together while we drove!!

re new vows

Jr and I got the chance to renew our wedding vows before he deployed. I did have my camera with me and took just afew pics.

Iraq

Today is my last day with Jr, before he leaves for Iraq. We have to take him very late tonight, early morning to his work. We can stay with him until about 3am, but then we have to leave. We all still have to get up and function at about 7am.. I have to work by 8 and the kids have to go to school. Kendra and Mycah have finals.. so they just cant miss school. But luckily the kids and I both have half days. We will be off no later then 2pm. So we can come home and sleep the rest of the day away.

a Year.. still hasnt hit me yet.. Comes and goes really. I get sad and cry some, but I guess what we do is just not think about it too much and just go forward. No time to sit and be sad all of the time. It hurts too much.. so we just do our every day things.. Work, school, clean, shop..

I will keep everyone updated as this year goes by. Still looking for somewhere to send all my kids this summer.. any takers.. haha

Christmas Parade and Fire pit

We went in the pouring rain to watch Mycah in the Christmas Parade.

They went so fast by us, I tried to get a pic.. it was blurry

but it was better then nothing!
