Jenna

Jennas sure can be beautiful, when she isnt even trying. I am very lucky in my kids. They are not ugly.. what I always wonder though.. do people with ugly kids, know that they have ugly kids? UGH.. What if my kids aren' t cute, and only I think they are.. LOL.. Would my family and friends tell me if my kids were not cute? I dont think I could tell my friends if their kids are ugly, luckily no one I know has ugly kids.. :)

One thing I know for sure is that their cousins on BOTH sides (my brothers kids, my sisters son, and all of my husbands' sisters kids) are ALL VERY VERY cute, not one ugly kid in the bunch (and I have seen my share of not cute kids).. so if all 12 of our siblings kids are cute, and my kids look very similar to there cousins.. well then MY KIDS ARE CUTE..

These pictures were taken this weekend when we were doing our family pictures. She is always the hardest one to get pictures of. I should post some of the "outakes" from the pictures we took. So many she is looking down, looking up, pouting, crying, complaining.. gosh sounds nothing like her mother..LOL.. somewhere out there is a picture of me where I wouldnt look up. I think it was printed on a cloth calandar or something for Grandma Jaynes..lol Sears maybe..

When I see these pictures, I see how natural and what a "free spirit" Jenna is. That is a joke Kendra and I have. How wild and free Jenna is. She is definatly a nature girl. I wonder what she will be like as a teen and as an adult. Will she be active in human rights, and saving the enviornment, active in politics. I know she will be active in Animal Rights. That is her passion, and always has been. Like when she used to wish she was a dog. I still think in her heart she wishes she was..LOL.

anywho.. enough of my ramblings.. just wanted to share some natural beauty of Jennas:

Dentist visit..

THe kids went to the dentist for the first time since we have been here. (8 months already. WOW can you believe that??)

Anyways, so in Missouri they went every 6 months. So they were glad to start all of that back up. They all did Xrays, then they all went in for cleanings. Mycah was the first one back out. He knew one tooth was bothering him and he was right, one of his molars has a cavity. He also has 2 smaller ones that are forming cavities.

Kendra has 3 also. I think one is a larger one also and 2 smaller ones. She is frustraited because she is the one who takes the best care of her teeth. She brushes AT LEAST 2 times a day, she flosses and in the past year she has used a water pick every day..

And Jenna the one who takes the worst care of her teeth.. had no cavities.. well we got her a new toothbrush afew weeks ago and she LOVES it.. so she has been brushing alot more often.

We go back in March for fillings.

Oh what a day. I have been wanting to get some current pictures of all of us, together.. but wit the attitudes and the way everyone "doesn't: get along, it is so hard to talk everyone into going out and taking pictures. Having everyone get along, having everyone smile, and not be a brat, bitching and complaining.

Well we did it. It was rough. We started with some starbucks, and a little drive and some complaining, and crying and bitching and "im getting in the car, forget it!!".. "why can't you all just FREAKING DO MOM THIS ONE FAVOR AND SHUT UP AND JUST TAKE A DAMN PICTURE!!!!!!"... Here are the wonderful results:

OK so somewhere along the way, someone must have left a cup of starbucks sitting around, and Zoey the oldest must have knocked it over and had some..
and forever has been addicted ( as the rest of my household ) is to starbucks.. Our starbucks on base opened this week.. We used to have to drive at least 30 minutes to a starbucks, and it was not really good. We would drive 45 minutes to get to the good one. I swear, there is something in their coffee that makes them addicting. I HATE coffee!!.. I love the smell of it, but I think it is gross.. EXCEPT the starbucks White Chocolate Mocha (hot or cold!!) with out without whip cream.. FULL caffination.. Jr gets the same thing, except at night, he does not get the caffine, he is a good boy and goes for decaf! Kendra has always loved the green tea fraps.. but, this summer Grandma sharon got her hooked on the Caramel Frap, with an added shot, caramel drizzle in the cup, and mocha drizzle on top!!:) Mycah loves the Strawberries and cream and add raspberry.. Jenna loves the Double Chocolate Chip, but tonight she tried Kendras caramel one and loved it.. NO NO NO.. can not start jenna on the coffee drinks already.. bad enough we all love something at SB it can get EXPENSIVE!!

it and she was jumping, leaping, scratching, ect to kendra and

her cup. It was really funny. Finally Kendra let her take a lick

and there was no turning back :) The other dogs ended up

joining in too.. I think, they all enjoyed it al ittle too much.

Updates and stuff

Well its been awhile since I have updated. The kids are back in school after Christmas break, New Years, and Kendras birthday.

Christmas break was LONG. The kids were pretty bored with not much to do. I was working, Jr was working half days.

Christmas was nice. Quiet. The kids didnt get up too early and we had dinner LATE. It was like 7pm. Just didnt feel like cooking early.

JR and I celebrated our 17 year wedding anniversary. We went to Applebees and had a nice dinner.

Kendras birthday was nice. I worked until 5pm and after I got off work, we drove to Savannah. We are dinner at Hooters. Kendra LOVES their fried pickles. We also got onion rings and mozzerella sticks.. (they were the best mozerella sticks I have EVER HAD!!. We all ate and were feeling good, so then we headed to down town Savannah.. where we went to starbucks. WE all got drinks and we sat around goofing off until they closed. It was fun.

Then we headed to the beach where at Mid night they were supposed to do fireworks off the pier. When we were driving down the strip, we noticed a house fire right along the sand.. so we parked an alley over and ran backed down the beach and sat and watched from the sand dunes. Until they kicked us off the dunes... you arent supposed to be on them.. what ever.. Jr helped put some of the fire out. The firemen were battleing the main fire and they did not know that flames had jumped to the neighbors porch and back yard. So JR ran across the sand and was grabbing a hose from the patio to put it out..

By this time it was like 1030 I think and headed towards the pier. It was chilly since we were on the beach and the wind was blowing. We walked around for awhile. Watching people which is always fun. The fireworks at midnight were awsome. Best fireworks I think I have ever seen. WE got home around 2am.

New year has been good. Kendra was going to get her drivers license, but a form she needed to get from the school, she did not get in time. So maybe this wee or next week. We will have to wait until I have time off to take her. Since her permit is Missouri, and not GA, she can not make an appointment, we have to do a walk in..GRRR..

I have started therapy/counsling again. I have had some major ups and downs while taking my meds regularly.. so I thought it was best I go back. I have upped my meds from 20 to 30 MG and what a difference that has made.

I have put in paperwork for mycah to see someone too, but they are backed up so it could be afew weeks.

I am still liking my job alot. I miss the girls from Missouri ALOT, but I like working at Heritage Bank. I am a Shift Supervisor now, and I love it!

I got my first ticket EVER EVER EVER Monday. UGH. I have been pulled over ONE TIME in my life. I had a head light out and he wanted to let me know.. that was it.. so this time, I got pulled over for "blowing through an intersection" which is FUCKING BULL SHIT. I stopped. It was not a long stop, BUT I STOPPED.. Mycah was with me and he was pissed too. He said I stopped also. Now I have to pay $65.

Mycah was in a parade for MLK day. With the JROTC. It was a very nice parade. I sat by myself and watched. Kendra had to go to the orthodontist, so JR drove her and took Jenna with them.

The weather has been COLD this past week but supposed to be warming up quickly.

Guess that is about all from me.

Our New Year

Our New Year was better then others. We had an interesting night. I got off work at 5 and came home and we pretty much got ready from there. Got on warm clothes, brushed hair, grabbed blankets, etc. And we piled into Jrs Jeep (my cars tags expired at midnight and we are currently looking for one more paper we need that is still packed in our boxes..) anywho..

It was Kendras 16 th birthday!!! (my baby is 16!!!) and we had planned to go to dinner and then to go Tybee Island to watch the fireworks off the pier at midnight. She said she wanted Mexican food so we headed to Savannah to try and new restraunt.. while driving there we were about to pass a Hooters and Kendra says "I think I would rather have Hooters" so we said OK and we pulled in. Mycah and Jenna had never been there before.

It was a great dinner. Our waitress was AWSOME I think she was the best waitress we have ever had anywhere. She was fun, and nice and she related to Jenna because she has a 10 year old sister and she was just great. We started with Kendras favorite, Fried Pickles. She told us if we got the onion rings and mozzerella sticks we would get a free dessert.. so we said WHY NOT ITS NEW YEARS EVE AND KENDRAS BIRTHDAY.. so then when she brought those 3 things she said.. "oh yeah its wednesday and all appitizers are 1/2 price" (WHOO HOO great deal, half price and a free dessert!!)

Kendra and another girl got pulled over to the center of the room, where they had to stand on chairs, put cone shape cups in their mouths (to look like a beak) and they had to flap their wings while everyone sang happy Birthday.

We ate dinner (burgers, pulled pork, chicken strips and hot wings) It was good., Kendra got the free dessert of CArmel covered cheesecake.. and we were off ..again

So we stop by our favorite starbucks and we all get a drink and hang out for awhile to waste some time.. WE took pictures (will post later).. and we just goofed off until it closed at 9..

We headed towards the island. As we were headed down the stip police cars were blocking off the main street and you had to turn down a side road.. we looked back and there was a house on fire right on the beach.. so we parked 2 alley ways over and ran down the beach to see .. when I say ran.. REALLY we were running/jogging in the FREAKING dark.. oh I have not had exercise like that in while.. and in soft sand..LOL.. so we got to the alley next to where the house was on fire and there was a wooden bridge we could stand on and watch the fire.. Kendra was behind us, and missed us turn to go up the bridge so she was still walking down the beach texting on her cell phone and she realized we werent with her.. so its dark.. she is alone.. and she thinks she sees us so she starts walking up slowly to some people.. but realizes it is not us.. before she looks like a dork.. so she calls my cell and I was like HELLO come back to the bridge.. she didnt see a bridge.. so I walk to the beach and I am calling her name.. I took a picture and was like FOLLOW THE FLASH..lol

We finally are all together and the girls and I walk down the beach about 50 Feet to be right across the fire. I climb up the sand dune and lay on top of it and had a great view. Jr and Mycah joined me. While laying and watching the fire we notice embers have started another fire on the patio of the neighbors house and on the back yard.. so Jr runs across the san dunes and tries to put out the fire.. but that wasnt working.. so he ran up on the patio and he found a hose and he put on the small fire on the patio and he was trying to find something to reach the back yard area.. so he finally sees a longer hose which he is attaching to the shorter hose and 3 other guys start helping him and he gets it all put out..

Mycah had went to tell the fire men about the other fire but they said they couldnt figure out how to get back to that area.. (jr said it was complicated) but by the time Jr got that fire out, a fireman did show up to finish it out..

About that time after Jr came back to me an officer of some kind was walking around making people leave the bridge and also the dunes.. you are not supposed to be on the dunes ever there are signs posted (which is why there are bridges from the road, over the dunes to where you can actually walk on the beach)

so we continued our night.. We drove closer to the pier and we walked around for afew hours.. At midnight they did fireworks and they were the best ones I have ever seen. and they lasted about 12-15 minutes..GREAT night

Long drive home.. got home about 200am..
