ProLife or ProChoice

ok so this is one of those topics, that will always cause a stir. I am thge type of person who may believe one thing, but allows others to believe what they want. And just because I believe one thing, that doesnt mean it is RIGHT.. it just means it is the right thing for me, at that time.

ok.. so what does Pro Life and Pro Choice mean when it comes to being pregnant?

Pro Life.. whos life are you talking about. Are you talking about the baby growing inside girl. Or are you talking about the life of the pregnant girl? Are you talking about the right for that baby to live a life, grow from a baby to an adult? Or are you talking about the girl, who has her whole life ahead of her..

Pro Choice.. whos choice is it? Is it the pregnant girls, or the choice of those around her?

When you are talking about a teen who becomes pregnant, who should get to make that choice? Does the girl who is still a child herself have the knowledge to make these choices, or do the parents? Should a parent be able to force her daughter to have an abortion, even if the daughter does not want to?

That baby has a right to live to. But that girl has a right to live her life.

Some people say it is all in Gods hands. That he had this planned out, before that pregnant girl was even alive. He has a grander plan. It was his will for that girl to become pregnant. But you know what?? If she goes through with an abortion, that was gods plan also. He also knew back before she was created, that one day she would become pregnant, and would not continue that pregnancy. That the road she follows, was the one that was really ment to be followed.

orthodontics.. GRRRRRRRRRR

OK, so Kendra got her braces 1 year ago. Aug 20, 2007. Cost us an arm and a leg to start them. Our insurance pays $1500 and everything else is on us. They make you pay like $1000 up front then they break the rest down into monthly payments.. well, so we left Missouri in March and Kendra has not been seen since we left there. They gave us her records and gave me a list of local orthos that do her type of braces (hers are a newer less time, better treatment braces). So i have been calling ALL around last week to get her seen by someone (because she broke a bracket and well its been since march..) so NO ONE in the area does her type of braces. Everyone said we would have to come in, and they will take hers off an put the other kind on. UGHHH.. so I made an appointment and went in today.. I have all her records of what the treatment plan was, her originaly pictures and xrays..etc. originally she was supposed to be in braces about 24 months.. we are half way done.. about..

ok so we go today.. we are there an hour as he is looking over everything in her mouth, measuring curves, and gaps, and stuff..

in the end this is what they tell us..

She will have to come back for a 2 hour appointment, where they will take off the old ones and put on the new ones. They did xrays and pictures today ($180) and we will have to make 3 payments of $350.. then $130 a month during the rest of the treatment.. Our insurance coverage of $1500 was almost all used in MIssouri.. all we have left is about $300.. (those prices I listed were AFTER the $300 insurance part)..

AND they are saying she will need another 30 MONTHS of treatments! WTF, she has already done a year and they are saying another 2 1/2 years. They are also saying she might have to do extraction.. where they leave the back molar, but take the next tooth out. That gives the rest of her teeth room to move about.. but first she will be using rubber bands and head gear for ALONG TIME and see if it works first..

UGH..

ok so tonight Kendra and I did a massive online search for orthodontits in the greater area..LOL.. even if I have to drive like 30 minutes to an hour, it will be cheaper then starting all over again.. we will just pay for general monthly treatments, not for all hard ware again.

So after Kendra called afew places in savannah.. I found one inthe other direction. I looked them up online and first thing I noticed was they listed her type of braces.. WOO HOO. SO I called them and we booked an appointment.. YEAH

Abot her braces.. they are known for a shorter treatment time, they have alot less problems with plaque buildup and stuch, and instead of the head gear, it is a spring like mechanism inside her mouth not a big thing around her head..HAHAHA.. also it says on there that tooth extraction levels are alot lower when using these type..

More on the "incident"

So, Jenna has been sitting home alot lately, We have just started to allow her to watch some cartoons, and she used the computer yesterday. Seems like it has been like a week or so.. but was just thinking.. it was last Wednesday and it hasnt even been a week. How long do you punish a kid for this?

Anyways, so he MPs called today and informed me that they would be dropping off a form for us, that we had to sign. She DOES have to go to Juvinal Court. She must attend on the 23. He asked if I had any questions.. I asked him.. since she is under 10 we thought she wasnt going to have to go to court. He said that because there might be payments involved.. the girls have to attend and have the judge decide. The girls will not be given community service though..

amazing morning

OK DUMB ass me. We (ok Kendra) decide we are going to the beach today. I told Kendra if she buys me a star buck we can go. So last night we decided to make it an early morning and do the sunrise thing again, since Jenna did not go with us last time..

So 430 came really early this morning, especially since I was up till 2am.. snooze was nice until about 5am. Jr and I got up, threw some stuff together, shoved kids in the car and headed off to tybee island.

I personally did not want to go. I never said I wanted to. But I forced myself to go. Knew I would have a good time. Up until the last minute I was still thinking about how nice it would be to offer to stay home and let Jr and the kids go alone.. but I never said it.. I knew Jr would say it was ok.. even though he would want me to go.. so I was a trooper.. BUT I decided I was going to make a relaxing time for me and only bring a book and a chair.. no camera.. didnt want to worry about sand, water, etc..etc..

So we get there and it is looking alittle clearer then last time.. last time we didnt get to seet he sun rise over the water.. but more like over some distant clouds over the water. So this morning was beautiful.. oh I need to just bring the camera ever time..LOL.

We got there about 10 minutes before sun rise and guess what the kids found. almost brand spaking new boogie boards IN THE TRASH. There were 2 of them. So they took off running for the water (jenna and mycah). I decide I want to be left alone and head north up the beach.. guess what.. not alone, here comes Kendra behind me to talk and pester..LOL.. It wasnt bad, we walked a ways.. we were heading back and we saw the same lady we saw last time we were there. She waved and said hello. There was also a lady taking all kinds of pictures kinda where jr and the other kids were. She was even taking pictures of Jenna.. what a wack.. anywho..
We were walking back and kendra noticed the sand was raised alittle and it was wierd.. it was in the shape of a star.. we both stopped and looked and we were like what the heck.. so i reached down and dug it up and it was a REAL LIVE STARFISH.. omg have never just seen one of those things laying around before... and it was DEFINATLY alive.. with its bright yellow tentacle things.. moving and stuff.. we ran it back to Jr and the other kids and they all took turns holding it and touching it. It was wierd the way it moved.. you placed it flat n your hand and it would like arch up and kinda crawl away.. jenna had it on her arm at one time and Jr was trying to get her to put it on her nose.. he offered her a dollar.. or a pack of gum. Kendra just told me she did put it on her face.. i missed that..

So all this time the lady is still taking a ton of pics. Of the kids, of the star fish, of the kids with the starfish, of the kids boogie boarding..etc..

Kendra and I went up to the car to change, and from the car kendra sees the dolphins swimming by Jr, the kids and the lady. They are not paying attention as they are all crouched down looking at something else the other way. So Kendra takes off running towards the ocean screaming LOOK AT THE DOLPHINS .. LOOK AT THE DOLPHINS!!! There were at least 6 of them this time.

Jr and the others were looking at a fully intact (but freashly dead) Horseshoe Crab.. to me it looked like a military metal WWII helmet..LOL.. so I would have called it a helmut crab.. but jr says it was a horseshoe crab.

SO this morning was filled with a beautiful sun rise, a starfish, boogie boarding, horseshoe crab AND lots of dolphin.. and no camera.. BOO HOO..

But, that lady with her million dollar camera that was taking lots of pics, offered us CD with all of our pics. She said her dad lived down the road and she would leave the CD with him for us. I was up at the car and she came out with her business card and info on it for her and her dad. All she asked in return was that she was able to use our pics. I said sure..

So we do get to have pics and physical memories of our morning.

One thing we did not capture on film.. while standing at the car, I was looking at this house we were by and the front HUGE window was kinda fogged up, because of the humidity.. and there was a guy standing there.. I could see him, but blurry.. well then he turned around. I could see he was wearing black shorts.. no shirt.. THEN.. he dropped his shorts.. I said OMG to kendra and laughed and told her.. I looked away.. didnt want to see anything more.. and didnt want him to turn around and see me watching..LOL.. ends up being the camera ladys husband...ACK

stupid

ok this is stupid, Jenna got in trouble at school for being truant the day she skipped school.. ok fine,, I assumed that she would be marked UN EXCUSED and that she would not be able to make up her work from that day..
ok so yesterday she was called into the principals office with the other 2 kids and they were talked to by the principal and the officer who works at the school. They said something about suspension.. and jenna was sent home with an inner office yellow envelope for me.. inside was a form saying she was being marked truant and then 2 other things were marked.. the box that said IN SCHOOL SUSPENSION was not marked.. and the box that said OUT OF SCHOOL SUSPENSION was not marked.. so I told jenna that the boy was wrong who told her that..
SO today I got home and she has another form.. she was called back to the office again, and they told her she was not supposed to be there.. she told them that I said those boxes werent marked.. (although at the bottem on the notes it said OUT OF SCHOOL.. I assumed it was the explination of why she was being marked truant).. anyways.. they said no that ment she had out of school suspension..
So this time they wrote tomorrows date for her to stay home..
how dumb.. punish a kid who skipps school by letting them stay home!

Breaking and Entering.. and vandalism

SOOOOO.. most of you have heard alittle of what happened today.. Here is the rest of the story.

Afew blogs ago, I mentioned a little girl named Jenna Shelby.. and how she is getting in trouble with a neighbor girl Little Shit Johanna (not her given birth name).. and that Johanna has a brother who is 11 years old also..

Jenna has been on restriction and not able to play at all. So finally last night I talked to Jenna and Johanna together. I made sure Johanna knew what my rules were for jenna.. and the boundaries where Jenna could play.. and I told her if these rules were not followed that Jenna would not be able to play with her. Jenna got to play for about 30 minutes last night.

This morning, I got Jenna up and ready for school and she rode off on her bike with Johanna and her brother like they do every day.

So off to training I went at 9am.. at about 103o Jr messaged me but I did not see the message.. I did notice it at about 1130.. it said "your daughter has been picked up by the MPs".. I asked WHAT DAUGHTER!!!??? My first thought was Kendra, but in a flash I knew it wasnt Kendra.. that Jenna had to have done something.. or did something happen to her.. so then I got worried.. was she going to school and kidnapped.. attacked.. ???

So I got up and I went into the break room (not on a break mind you) and I called Jr.. he said "I cant talk right now" I said WAIT and I asked if he was at the MP station, he said Yes, I cant talk right now.. I said BULL SHIT what is going on.. and he said Call me later, I cant talk right now.. I was like FUCK NO tell me what the hell is going on.. by now I am shaking.. he said I cant talk right now so I am like FINE and I hang up.. and call my mom..LOL.. after venting to her, I check my voice mail.. also rationalizing that if something happened to her she would be at the hospital not at the MP station.. so his voice mail was from when he was driving to the MP station.. he had some details but not alot.. Jenna was arrested for breaking and entering, and damage to government property, and vandelism..

So It was 1130 and my break was supposed to be at 1230.. an hour.. so I go back to class teary eyed.. luckily the teacher let us go to lunch early.. at noon.. so I rushed home, where Jr had just arrived with Jenna..

The reason Jr could not talk to me when I called was because he was being questioned and they let him answer only because it was me.. but they told him he could not say anything else other then "I can not talk right now"..

ok so.. here is the story..

Jenna and her friends rode off to school. The boy leads the way, and instead of going the normal way they take another route.. which I think they have taken before, but Jenna does not know the way going this way (which is her excuse on WHY she didnt continue on to school or come home, she didnt know where she was)..

ok so FIRST they told the MPs this story.. (jenna tried to start by telling me this too but I called her on it and she told me "ok its not true") they said that a masked man, with blue eyes, and a bloody knife was chasing them.. so they ran into this house..

NO what really happened, was they were riding to school and the boy said they should skip school and Jenna didnt want to, but didnt know where to go.. so she went along with them. There is this house, that currently people did live IN the house, although there stuff was still in the house. They were forced to leave the house because it was a COMPLETE DUMP. Mold, trash, dirty diapers and dishes..etc.. well they played in the house, found a DVD player and tv and watched some movies, SPRAY PAINTED!!!, broke things..etc..

SO I guess some worker guy noticed the bikes hidden at the back of the house and went in to check and see.. they started running and he yelled stop, and I guess Jenna was the first one to stop.. he called the MPs and the Military Criminal Investigation Unit came and took them to the police station..

She doesnt get the full picture. She doesnt seem like she even cares. She isnt sorry, she isnt crying at all.. she is like..what ever.. when we told her life is gunna be hell and she will be forced to do alot of stuff around the house, she asked "what about dishes, can I do dishes?".. she is wanting to do work.. GRRR

From what Jr was told, since Jenna and Johanna are under 10 they dont do anything to them.. all of this is falling on the brother who is over 10 years old. He will have to go to juvinal court and do community service, and his dad will be the one paying for damages..

I think we are going to make jenna go do community service on saturday or two.. but we need to find something that she will not enjoy..

I knew jenna would be the one who gave us hell as she grew up but I thought she would be a teen by the time she started .. I just am afraid of the future!!!

Attack of the killer Log

OK so, this might get long, but it is really funny..

So for my birthday, we rented a boat here on base. They have a place where you can rent everything like canoes and smaller boats up to a larger boat that sits like 10+ people.

Anywho.. we went to rent it on my birthday which was Sat.. We had to go online and take a boater safety quiz. Then we had to go out to the place and watch a video.. it was like over an hour long.. so by the time we got done it was after 1pm and I was like.. lets wait until Sunday, so we have all day. She informed us that we had to make sure ALL of the lights worked when we hooked the boat trailer.. or they would not let you leave with the boat.. so..

We knew we had some problems. We got a personal trailer to move here and the lights didnt work on it.. so JR spent the rest of Sat trying to get the lights hooked up and working.

EARLY sunday morning Jr and Kendra went to the place, before they opened so they would be first in line to get a boat... they were.. so they hooked up the first one, and the lights didnt work,, they tried another.. still didnt work.. and a 3rd.. JR was pissed.. him and kendra came home.. awhile later he messed with the wires some more. He got it all working.. and him and Kendra went BACK to the boat place and it WORKED!!.. the lady felt bad that they had to go back and forth. So she gave him a huge discount and we got the boat for $25 for the day.

So off we went. We had a cooler full of junk.. and we put in about 30 minutes from the house. We had fun, Jr backed the boat in the water and I took off while Jr pulled the jeep back over into the parking lot.. you should have seen me, I had no clue what I was doing..HAHAH.. and trying to pull back up to the dock to get JR when he was ready to get into the boat.. I was thinking he would have to jump in and swim to us..LOL

ok so JR drove us down, we thought we were going to be able to head right out to the ocean itself.. but we went for awhile and well we just werent sure.. so we played around, Jenna and Mycah jumped in. Unfortunatly the boat did not have a ladder so getting back in the boat.. NOT SO EASY.. Jenna wasnt bad, but Mycah.. yeah hes not limber and he is not light as a feather.

We went back the other way. Everyone got a turn driving the boat. Mycah was really scary driving eanr the end.. he was at full speed and JR had him take a turn and it was fast and scary.

ok so.. awhile later jenna had to pee so she jumped in the water. Mycah jumped in the other way but he hit the bottem.. so he says.. but we dont think so, because we were not near the shore at all we were centered.. we thought maybe he hit a log or rock or something.. then a log popped up, and he FREAKED THE FUCK OUT.. I am he withing a mila second was upset. He didnt know what it was. He thought it was an alligator.. he frantically was trying to get back to the boat.. we were telling him it was a log and to chill out.. NOOOO it was getting worse.. the look of fear in his eyes, cause he was not able to get back in easily.. he was scratching and clawing at the back trying to get in.. JR was like OMG get over it.. and I was like relax, calm down, still telling him it was a log.. I guess he still didnt believe us and he was still hysterical and I was afraid of him going under or something ya know.. but.. as before getting his almost 200lb body in the boat.. not so easy and even worse when he is hysterical..

WE got him back in the boat and I got him to calm down.. OMG it was really the funniest thing but I am a good mom, and didnt let him know I thought it was funny. The rest of the day behind his back I was cracking jokes.. LOL.. and I did tell him afew of the jokes I said.. he didnt think they were funny.. like:

2 little kids are playing, one says to the other, "what are you going to be for halloween?" "Im gunna be something SCARY, a vampire" the other says "im gunna be something scary too, a log"..

LMAO.. i know mean mean, but it was funny..

Over all we had a great day and I have pics which I will be sending via email maybe later today..
